The Hunt Memorial Faced Hunt's Work

The Richard Morris Hunt Memorial honors the first American architect to train at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. It was sited to face the Hunt-designed Lenox Library, which was torn down in 1913 to make way for the Frick mansion.
